The remarkable story unfolded at the Beylikduzu Alfa Veterinary Clinic when a Good Samaritan brought in a weak puppy found on the streets.
As vets worked to stabilise the little one, an unexpected visitor arrived: his mother.
Desperately seeking help
To everyone’s astonishment, the mother dog was carrying another struggling puppy, desperate for assistance. “We were very surprised when we saw her,” veterinarian Baturay Oğan explains.
Initially fearing the worst, staff discovered the second pup was still alive, though barely. They immediately began life-saving treatment.
Oğan believes the mother had been separated from her litter after being spayed. Without her warmth, the puppies suffered from hypothermia. Tragically, she later returned with a third pup who could not be saved.
Unwavering love
Now safe at the clinic, the mother and her surviving puppies are receiving intensive care. “Their health is good now,” Oğan confirmed. “She is weak, but we are feeding her well.”
Thanks to her unwavering love, this brave dog and her little ones will never be alone again.
