On the night of January 29th, Natalie was disturbed by a strange sound in her bedroom.
There was a scratching noise coming from underneath the bed - and she definitely wasn't dreaming!
An abrupt awakening
It may sound like the stuff of nightmares, but thankfully Natalie was very prepared.
She had installed a camera to watch her pets when they were home alone, and it was positioned perfectly to capture the bizarre scene unfold.
It turned out that her cat, Mr. Meowagi, had decided to start a game in the middle of the night. He slipped under Natalie's bed, before proceeding to sharpen his claws on the frame.
Still not satisfied, he started going all the way around the bed, scratching at the wood. It seemed to Natalie that her furry friend was "possessed".
Boundless Energy
Natalie thinks Mr. Meowagi's energy in the middle of the night is due to his desire to play with the kitten that recently joined the family. Unfortunately for the humans in the home, 1 am is their favourite time to play!
TikTok viewers confessed they too would have been startled, before finding the whole thing hilarious.
