When it comes to choosing the right dog, everyone has certain requirements in mind. From size to personality, it's an important decision to get right.
So when it came to choosing their perfect puppy, a couple of prospective pet parents carried out their research. They settled on a miniature doodle, who they decided to name Waffle.
A surprising secret
"When you thought you'd bought a mini doodle", joked Waffle's owner on TikTok, as he shared a clip of a very large, white dog.
"He just kept growing and growing", he went on to explain.
Waffle, it seems, was not a mini doodle. He more closely resembes a Goldendoodle, standing as tall as his owner when on his back legs.

Thankfully for Waffle, his owners are besotted - it just turns out there's a little more of him to love than they originally expected!
The clip, which shows the doodle's owner trying to measure him standing up, has now been viewed over a million times.
"He's almost my height. That's a person, check for a zipper", joked a viewer.
