A unique swimming pool opened in Shoreham this weekend, designed by Nina and Henry of Aquahounds Ltd. For the first time, people can swim with their pets.

When their own dog was diagnosed with hip dysplasia, it became apparent to Nina and Henry how difficult it was to find a pool that accepted dogs.

They decided to do something about it, creating a pool and shower space specifically designed for dog owners and their four-legged friends.

Dog toys and life jackets are also supplied, ensuring the safety of the dogs at all times.

DIY dog wash

The venue has also created a DIY dog wash, offering walkers and owners the option of washing dogs without getting their own bathrooms dirty. The service can be booked for 30 minutes or an hour, including a waterproof apron and a dryer.

The couple behind Aquahounds Ltd recently shared a post to Facebook, welcoming dog lovers to the space. "Looking forward to meeting you and your pups soon", they wrote.
