Three tiny puppies were abandoned outside an apartment complex, left to shiver on the frozen ground. Their only source of warmth was each other, huddled together in a desperate attempt to stay alive.
Fortunately, a Good Samaritan spotted the puppies and took action.
Fate steps in
Though they couldn’t take the puppies in themselves, they moved the trio to a sheltered spot, wrapped them in blankets, and posted their photo on a local Facebook group. Thanks to this act of kindness, the puppies made it through the freezing night.
The post caught the attention of a woman who immediately alerted the Sauver Des Chiens German Shepherd Rescue (SDC). Determined to help, she rushed to collect the puppies and bring them home. Her children quickly fell in love with the pups and were thrilled to help care for them.
Safe and sound
Despite their ordeal, the 7-week-old puppies appeared healthy. After a thorough bath to rid them of fleas, the puppies started to feel much better.
The woman’s children lovingly named them Artemis, Hephaestus, and Squirt.
