Snow can be beautiful, particularly when admired from the comfort of a warm, cosy room. Otherwise, it can be cold and damp - especially if you don't have any shoes on.
This was most definitely the case for a black and white cat, who decided to venture outside this winter.
Slow but steady
Making her way across the roof, this cunning cat had come up with the perfect plan. She just needed to take her time, side stepping the patches of snow as best she could.
Her owner, Pierre Ledoux, managed to capture the hilarious clip, later sharing it to Facebook where it was viewed an incredible 2.5 million times.
If necessity is the mother of invention, this cat shows that slow but steady is most definitely the way to go.
Safely home
She may have taken her time getting there, but we have no doubt this resourceful cat made it home as warm and as dry as possible, thanks to her ingenious solution to a very chilly problem.
