Rachel has always made it clear to people that she and her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Daisy come as a package deal.
She hoped she would find someone who loved Daisy as deeply as she did. And then she met Phil.
Love at first sight
"About six months into Phil living with us, I think Daisy started to get more attached to him that she was to me", Rachel recently told The Dodo. "She almost always says hello to him first if we come home at the same time!".
While it was clear Daisy had fully accepted Phil into the family, Rachel had no idea the lengths he would go to for her and her four-legged friend.
The perfect proposal
The devoted pet parent had dropped into conversation that were Phil to propose, she would love for Daisy to have a ring.
"I didn't know he had actually researched and found a little toy ring in a perfect toy ring box", she explained. "But I wasn't surprised he followed through. My soulmate would know how important my soul dog is to me".
Rachel managed to capture the heartwarming proposal, which she later shared to TikTok.
"We said yes!", she captioned the video, in which Daisy is seen excitedly receiving her new toy.
"The sweetest paw-posal", wrote one viewer.
"Marry this guy 100 times over!", replied another.
