Seven-year-old Louis, accompanied by owners Jess Peters and Dan Taylor, spent 29 hours climbing Scafell Pike, Ben Nevis, and Mount Snowdon.
The couple, from Sherfield English in Hampshire, described Louis as "better prepared" than they were due to his daily walks of up to six miles.
Adventure loving Persian
They noted that Louis, who "loves adventures" and acts "a bit like a dog," insisted on walking most of the way himself, though he was carried briefly near the summits due to the cold.
The trek began with Snowdon in May, followed by Ben Nevis during the August Bank Holiday, and concluded with Scafell Pike last Saturday. Despite the poor weather on Snowdon and Ben Nevis. Fortunately, the weather for Scafell Pike was clear.
Fearless feline
Jess, who has had the Persian cat for seven years, started taking him on walks around their garden before extending them to local woods. This led to the idea of including him in their hiking trips.
The couple, who kept a tracker on Louis to monitor his progress, prepared food, water, and a blanket for him. They faced curious onlookers along the way but completed the challenge with Louis in good spirits.
Perhaps not surprisingly, plans for Louis’s next adventure are already underway.
