Meet the Maine Coon cat so enormous he reaches the kitchen worktop like a dog

When most people think about cats, they envision a small and easy to manage pet. But then there's Zeus the Maine Coon.

Zeus has become an internet sensation on TikTok thanks to his impressive size. Standing on his hind legs, the handsome black Maine Coon reaches up to the kitchen counter.

A video shared on the impressive feline's TikTok account (yes, he has his own TikTok) shows him dwarfing his feline companion.

Still growing!

At three years old, Zeus is already larger than some dogs and could still grow for another year. However, despite his enormous size, Zeus is described by his owners as a gentle giant. "Zeus is very sweet to the family," they shared in another video. "He's patient with feeding and has never scratched or bitten us."

Maine Coons are known for their large size and can continue to grow until they are three or four years old. With Zeus being only three, his growth could continue, so his owners will need to stock up on extra cat food to keep up with his appetite.
