Courteney Cox recently attempted the viral Hands In Challenge with her dog, but it's safe to say it rather hilariously failed!

The actress shared the video featuring her Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Lily and Bear on her Instagram.

Failed challenge

The popular Hands In Challenge involves two people placing their hands on top of each other and then seeing if their dog will place its paw on top. While Courteney had shared several successful attempts before, her pup refused to cooperate this time.

Set to The Turtles' 1967 hit "Happy Together," the video shows Courteney, who we presume to be her daughter Coco, setting up the challenge. The women put their hands on top of each other in front of the dog. However, instead of placing its paw on their hands, the dog simply nudges them aside and walks underneath.

In the caption, Cox amusingly wrote, "She's cute. She's got that going for her."

We couldn't agree more.

Comedy pups

The clip has so far attracted over 48,000 likes and numerous comments from people sharing their own experiences of doing the challenge with their pets, including one person who believes Lily is smarter than she looks as she managed to get herself a sneaky stroke as she walked off.

It's not the first time Courteney's videos of her pups have not gone as planned. Earlier in April 2023, Courteney also shared a music video featuring her dogs, set to Lizzy McAlpine's song "Ceilings." However, the video came to a rather comical end when Courteney spotted one of the dogs trying to mount the other, saying, "Stop, that's too much!"

Have you tried the challenge with your dog? Did they do better than Courteney's?
