Brazilian professional cyclist Vitor Fonseca stumbled upon the stranded feline during a ride, and their bond was immediate.
Repaying kindness with kisses
Realising he didn’t have anything suitable to carry the kitten in, Fonseca came up with the ingenious idea to tuck the little kitten into his shirt, prompting the grateful feline to repay Fonseca with kisses.
The kitten seemed unfazed by the journey and even interested in the passing scenery.
“I love him!”
Fonseca has shared an adorable video of the kitten snugly nestled in his jersey, showering him with affectionate licks. Touched by the kitten’s affection, Fonseca affectionately captioned the video “I love him!” on social media, which quickly went viral.
Fonesca later shared his joy at finding the kitten a new home where it would receive proper care.
We hope Vitor can stay in touch with the little kitten and maybe even take him out on the occasional training rides!
