We know how wonderful it is to see a friendly face, especially if it’s one of our closest friends. Well, dogs may feel exactly the same about their pals, especially if they’ve not seen them in a while.
Excited welcome
The security camera footage shows Leia the German Shepherd on a landing at the top of some stairs.
Immediately, as a little white dog begins walking up the stairs towards Leia, the German Shepherd cannot stop herself from literally jumping with joy and seemingly performing a little dance to reflect her excitement.
As the other dog makes their way up the stairs, Leia makes it clear that she’s overjoyed to see her friend. Perhaps the dogs haven’t seen each other in a while, but either way, Leia’s pure excitement is heartwarming to watch.
Bringing joy to millions
With more than 1.5 million viewers, it’s not surprising that the video attracted over 500 comments from people won over by Leia’s joy.
While one person suggested the white dog may be thinking, “damn, give me a moment” other people said how wonderful it must be to be greeted like this by your best friend. And we agree!
