Little Wanderers NYC took the call about the trapped feline who was perched on a narrow ledge outside of the building.
Terrified and injured
The poor ginger cat had injured her paws while trying to escape and was frozen in fear.
Fortunately, rescuers safely removed the cat, later named Fox, from the narrow ledge and immediately took her to get medical attention.
But although she was now safe, Fox was still very nervous and extremely distrustful. While she recuperated from her injuries, she was placed in a foster home where it was also hoped that she’d learn to trust humans again.
Over time, the little cat began to emerge from her shell, thanks to the patience and care of her foster caregiver. Gradually, Fox’s playful and affectionate nature surfaced, and she found solace in the comfort of lap snuggles.
Remarkable transformation
After two weeks in foster care, Fox found her forever home with Cliff and Julius, who were captivated by her charm and her remarkable rescue story. Welcomed into her new family, Fox quickly settled in, enjoying the warmth and security of her new surroundings.
Now, Fox spends her days exploring her new home, cuddling with her humans, and basking in the comforts of indoor life. With her playful antics and gentle demeanour,
Fox has brought immense joy and love into her adoptive family’s life, leaving behind the hardships of her past for a bright and purr-filled future.
