Get ready to howl with laughter as a TikTok user unveils her Newfoundland's hilarious kitchen morning routine, leaving 1.4 million viewers in stitches.

There's nothing like starting your day off with a refreshing drink of water in the morning, especially after a long walk.

But while this sounds like a normal morning routine, in the mesmerising video, this Newfoundland's peculiar morning antics take it to a new level.

Unusual morning routine

After its usual morning walk, Ollie the dog heads straight to the kitchen for a drink. But this dog doesn't start its day with a drink from a bowl on the floor. It heads to its favourite spot in the kitchen. That's right, the kitchen countertop.

If you think that living with a dog of this size means they can't possibly get onto your kitchen surfaces, think again. In a well-practised move, the dog positions itself near the sink, then boldly climbs onto the chair and, shockingly, the kitchen counter.

Sink drinking antics

The canine's antics don't stop there – it skillfully turns on the taps and enjoys a refreshing drink. The enormous brown bear-like dog, Ollie, seems to have a penchant for sink water, preferring to drink from the sink rather than his bowl.

Here's the "see it to believe it" clip:

While many may associate these antics with mischievous cats, this Newfoundland proves that giant dog breeds can be equally naughty. In fact, one viewer left a comment saying, "That's one gorgeous-looking big cat."

Viewers were stunned by seeing such a big dog on the kitchen side and how strong the chair and work surface must be to take the dog's weight. But if that's not surprising enough, Ollie's canine sibling Cocoa, another Newfoundland, also has a penchant for perching on the kitchen side.
