Sadies Dog Rescue, which is dedicated to rescuing dogs in Bacau, Romania, faced several setbacks after rescuing five abandoned puppies.
Tragic litter of puppies
Despite unwavering efforts and continuous care in the veterinary clinic, the pups began losing their fight for survival after testing positive for Parvovirus.
Three of the puppies passed away almost a week later, leaving behind only Breagha and Dylan to fight for their lives. Tragically, after 12 days of hope that he’d make it through, the organisation shared the devastating news that little Dylan, his name meaning ‘ray of hope’ in Irish, also lost his battle.
After posting about the sad news on social media, the rescue group shared how they bitterly regretted not finding the puppies sooner.
Breagha’s battle for survival
Yet, amid the sorrow, a glimmer of hope remains for the last surviving puppy, Breagha. Sadies Dog Rescue, rallying support on Facebook, urges everyone to join in the fight for Breagha’s life and keep her in their thoughts.
But while she may be the last puppy from her litter, Breagha is not alone. Her constant companion is a teddy bear, providing her with much-needed comfort and companionship.
