Harmonia arrived at Animals Fiji on the 27th of October 2021. And even after all these years, the rescue pup hasn't given up hope of finding her family.
The longest wait
The heartbreaking scene of Harmonia sitting by the door of her kennel has become all too familiar to the shelter staff in Fiji. She has done this every day for two years, staring through the bars in the hope someone will take her home with them.
The only time she doesn't sit like this, is when she's playing with her kennel mate, who is also up for adoption.
Those that know Harmonia describe her as the most loveable character. A little shy at first, she quickly opens up with the help of a tasty treat!
The possibility of an international adoption
Harmonia's video has touched the hearts of viewers around the world, and has now been viewed over 88,000 times.
Many people have commented to ask whether she is still available for adoption, with one viewer responding, "I hope she is adopted soon". Another added, "If I were a millionaire, I would adopt them all and treat them like my family".
With many wondering about the possibility of a home abroad, staff at Animals Fiji were quick to reply, explaining that an international adoption would indeed be possible.
In the meantime, they're asking people to share Harmonia's video far and wide, to help this adorable girl find her happy ending.
