Joey and Jonah were looking for a kitten to add to their family, so when they heard about a litter of stray kittens in urgent need of a home, they decided to head to the shelter to meet them.
Love at first sight
There was only one left: a little grey kitten, obviously too "ordinary" to interest adopters, who preferred to adopt his more original-looking brothers and sisters.
But no matter, Joey and Jonah had found the missing piece in their family.
An unexpected change of colour
Rather distant and shy, Zorro - the name Joey and Jonah chose for the kitten - quickly found his place in this new home, where he was given plenty of time to settle. Little by little, Zorro began to show his trust. And amazingly, his colour started to change!
Over the course of a few days, the pattern on his face started to change. A dark mask started to appear - fitting his name perfectly!
Although he still changes regularly, Zorro is now a much more confident cat who enjoys his humans and his life as a 5-month-old kitten.
What a wonderful transformation, and above all, a successful adoption for Zorro and his people, who regularly share the cat's adventures on social networks.
