The desperate kittens were spotted huddled by their mother's lifeless body, who had been tragically hit by a car. The driver had seemingly driven off, simply leaving the cat where she had died.
Kind stranger
A compassionate stranger found the feline family, three females and one male, and brought them to a local animal shelter in Celestynów, Poland.
The shelter shared the kitten’s heartbreaking story on their Facebook page. Their story prompted an outpouring of compassion and support from cat lovers, relieved to see that the kittens are now safe.
Hope for kittens' future
Despite their harrowing start in life and serious injuries, the kittens are now on the road to recovery. The shelter hopes it won’t be long before the kittens find new families to give them the love and care they deserve.
