A video capturing the moment a Labrador meets his two newborn siblings for the first time has left more than 4 million viewers in awe.

Introducing newborns to their four-legged siblings can be an anxious time for new parents, but this family have nothing to worry about.

The heartwarming clip reveals the delicate process of acclimating young children to their four-legged family members and vice-versa.

Big brother

At the centre of the family is Zokor, an adorable Labrador whose life took a heartwarming turn when he suddenly took on the role of older brother upon the arrival of twins in the household.

The adorable YouTube video, shared by his proud owners, shows an excited Zokor entering the room, seeming to sense that something was different.

The curious canine was surprised to see two sleeping babies nestled in their car seats. Zokor couldn't take his eyes off the babies, eager for his owners to let him play with his new siblings.

Zokor’s introduction to his new baby siblings took place under the watchful eye of his owners. While Labradors are not typically considered dangerous around older children, they can sometimes be unintentionally rough with young children.

Despite his eagerness to play with the babies, he seemed to understand that he must control his excitement around the two tiny humans and remain calm. He's already showing signs of being a responsible big brother.

We urge Wamiz readers to always be cautious when letting a pet play with a child. No matter how sweet pets can be, they may sometimes feel uncomfortable with a child's rough play and children can’t always pick up on that. Better safe than sorry, always supervise interactions between a child and an animal!
