Nikko and Stella spotted the giant green T-Rex stalking through the backyard of the family home in Las Vegas, USA. The pups went crazy, pawing and scratching at the patio door, begging their mom for a chance to take the intruder down.
Two Boxers, One T-Rex
Although, like most Boxers, when they actually caught it, they were more interested in playing and giving it a good sniff. And that's because they soon picked up on the familiar scent of their dog dad, Andrew Walsh, hiding inside the costume.
Along with his wife Jeannie, he decided to prank the dogs by seeing how they'd react to a backyard invasion by a creature from another time.
Nikko and Stella chased the T-Rex around in circles before the feisty pups finally managed to take it down. Then they rolled and jumped all over poor Andrew.
The 'attack' lasted around a minute. In a video shared on TikTok, you can hear Jeannie giggling. She finally catches her breath, asking her husband, "are you okay, honey?"
Andrew was too exhausted to reply, but Jeannie later confirmed that he survived the ordeal unscathed.

The hilarious video went viral, racking up millions of views and thousands of likes and comments.

Boxers are well-known for their playful nature and goofy antics and are full of puppy-like energy until around 4 years old. However, these working dogs get serious when it's time to guard and protect their people.
