A cute Cavapoo given away for free because he wasn't 'perfect' found the ideal people who promised to love him just the way he is - and forever.

It's hard to imagine that anyone could think there was something 'wrong' with Benji. The Cavapoo is sweet, adorable, super-friendly, and has one of the cutest faces in the world. Benji is perfection on four legs.

Every dog is perfect

The only person who disagrees is Benji's previous owner. They decided to give Benji away for free shortly after adopting him. Why? Because he was born with a rare skin condition that requires a little bit of medical attention.

In other words, they couldn't be bothered giving this guy the love and care he needed. They wanted none of the responsibility that comes with being a pooch parent. Instead, they only cared about parading Benji around like a cute accessory to show off. These people! They're not good enough for dogs.

But Mandy and her husband are different. They're good people, dog people, our kind of people.

The couple, who live in Chicago, USA, was more than happy to take Benji into their care after they saw an advert offering a free Cavapoo. That was almost a year ago.

During the last 11 months, Mandy and her partner have spent each day giving Benji everything he needs and deserves. That's how you do 'pooch parenting.'

Benji's perfect life

Mandy celebrated Benji's first forever home anniversary with an adorable TikTok video. It's a flashback video showing Benji when he first arrived at his new home.

He looks absolutely adorable. How could anyone not want a dog like this?

Mandy's TikTok account is dedicated to Benji living his best dog life. Her other videos show Benji doing all his favourite things, including snuggling with Dad, going for car rides, causing a little mischief, and taking a mid-afternoon (well-deserved) snooze on the sofa.
