A few weeks ago, a homeless man named Adolfo was rushed to the hospital after contracting a bad case of pneumonia.
While he was being treated, his dog, Moises, was left to fend for himself in the streets. But the dog didn’t seem to mind - he was just worried about his best friend.
Love knows no bounds
For days, Moises waited right outside the hospital with a bag containing his beloved owner’s clothes. Day and night, he stayed put.
His loyalty caught the attention of a woman named Sammy Quiceno, who decided she would take Moises in until his dad was better. She, of course, took the bag of clothes home too, so Moises never had to sleep far from it.
A tearful reunion
Once his story went viral, the hospital decided they could make an exception to their ‘no pets’ policy so that Moises could visit his dad.
The reunion was caught on video, and it really is a tear-jerker. The love between Moises and Adolfo is palpable, and it shows that owners don’t need riches to make their pets happy - just care and affection.
We wish Adolfo a quick recovery, but in the meantime, we’re glad Moises is in good hands.
