Around two weeks ago, photographer Cecilie Thoresen was contacted by a sweet lady.
The woman explained that her Chocolate Labrador, Timber, had sadly passed away.

Timber’s owner had a photo of her and her husband throwing Timber’s ashes in a lake that he used to love playing in. Sending it over to Cecilie, she asked whether the photographer could edit a photo of Timber into the photo of them spreading his ashes.
Deeply touched, Cecilie got right to work. And the result was jaw-dropping.
Dog crossing Rainbow Bridge goes viral
The edited photo shows Timber’s reflection in the water as if he were leaping in like he always did when he played with his owners at the lake. Rainbow colours can also be seen in the reflection as if to represent his passing over the Rainbow Bridge.
The beautiful photo instantly went viral, with many dog owners empathising with Timber’s bereaved pawrents, and congratulating Cecilie on her amazing work.
While it can’t heal the pain of losing a beloved pet, we’re sure it will remain a prized possession for Timber’s owners forever.
RIP, Timber.
