A few months ago, a couple was driving through the Granada region of Spain along a deserted countryside road when they spotted a small fluffy dog chasing frantically behind their van.
At first, they thought the dog must be with its owners. But when they realised she just kept running, they knew she was trying to get them to stop.
Dog tries to stop people on the road
The couple looked all over town for the dog’s owners, but no one knew who she was, and she didn’t have a microchip, either.
The couple realised the poor dog had probably been abandoned on that road. So the cat-owning couple made a big decision…to adopt their very first dog!
Adventure dog Moxie
They named the little dog Moxie. Today, Moxie accompanies her new parents on all of their adventures. She’s an energetic and adventurous pup, so she couldn’t have possibly found a better fit with her travel-loving parents.
And as a plus, she’s also head-over-heels in love with her kitty siblings! In fact, her parents are pretty sure she now thinks she’s a cat.
