Many dogs are known for their greedy side and some don't even stop at the most absurd things they can get their paws on, like handkerchiefs, tennis balls, paper bags or... socks.
This also applied to Beau, a mixed-breed Beagle. The puppy is a real mischief, as owner Lucy reports; she has to keep an eye on him all the time.
The Beagle dog ate socks
When Lucy caught the little Beau eating a sock, she thought she had caught him in the act ... yeah right! She soon found out there was more because, well, one isn’t enough.
Fortunately, she immediately called the veterinary clinic, where she was advised to come over, as the swallowed sock could cause permanent damage to the stomach.
The vet made Beau vomit
Once arrived at the vet, Beau was given an emetic that was supposed to help the dog get the sock out of his system. And there it came. But the bystanders were amazed because it didn't stop there.
Beau vomited one sock after the other until finally there were NINE socks in front of him. This little mischief really sank into self-pity. One can only hope that he has learned from his mistake because it is a miracle that he made it through the whole thing unscathed.
