A few days ago, Gemma Colon was enjoying dinner at a New York restaurant when she noticed a man a few tables over who was clearly on a very special date.
So special, in fact, that everyone was staring.

Gemma didn’t want to interrupt anything, but she couldn’t stop herself from pulling out her phone and filming the scene.
Why, you ask? Because this man’s date was none other than his adorable dog! The Pittie sat on the chair right across from his owner and, like a very good boy, remained calm and poised while his owner enjoyed a glass of wine. He even sipped from his very own water bowl, which had been placed on the table for him to enjoy!

After discussing the scene with the waiter, Gemma discovered that this wasn’t unusual for the pair. They often like to go out together and enjoy each other’s company like this!
We’re certainly glad that Gemma caught the moment on film, and we only wish more people were accepting of owners treating their pets like people!
