To be fair, most Chihuahuas don’t know their size, but this guy took it to a whole new level. I mean, the smallest dog in the world taking on one of the biggest? That's some courage!
Bold move
The adorable puppy bounces around his huge rival, pawing at him as if he doesn’t stand a chance. He yaps at him courageously, never backing down.
Great Danes have a similar problem to Chihuahuas in that they don’t know their size either. The big dog tries to paw back, but thankfully, his owners are there to control his strength.
Good friends
All in all, the interaction goes smoothly and both dogs are friendly and gentle with each other. Socialisation is very important for young pups, and often, owners of small breeds don’t let their pets interact with other dogs as much as they should. But if everything is safely supervised, as in this instance, then there’s no reason why playing between a big and small dog shouldn’t be encouraged!
These dogs’ owners can be heard laughing in the background – it is indeed a strange sight! Hard to believe the two belong to the same species.
