An unexpected rescue
The little pup was barely five weeks old and was starving. A veterinary examination revealed that the puppy weighed only about four pounds. He was severely dehydrated and riddled with worms.
The clinic staff named the puppy Joey. Thanks to veterinary treatment, a proper diet, and constant monitoring, Joey gradually regained his strength.
A happy ending
Over the following weeks, a very strong bond formed between Joey and the young woman who had rescued him. After looking after him throughout his recovery, she finally decided to adopt him for good!
A few months later, the fragile little puppy has completely transformed, as you can see in the photos below. Now nine months old, Joey weighs nearly 66 pounds. He is a healthy, playful, and energetic dog. He adores his brother Benny, and the two dogs are now enjoying their new life together to the fullest. What a wonderful adoption story!
