It was the squeaking of her dogs' toys!
It wasn't her dogs
There was just one problem, though. Her three dogs were inside the house with her, so it couldn't have been them playing... With her heart pounding, Cassidy looked through the window to see what was going on.
The scene before her was so unlikely that she grabbed her camera to film it. A squirrel was happily playing with the dogs' toys! The little creature was holding the toy between its paws and biting it to make it squeak...
Leaping for joy
It's a scene that's as funny as it is touching to watch: the squirrel was properly leaping and rolling around with the toy. It was clearly having a wonderful time, and it's just as much fun for us to watch!
It turns out the squirrel is actually a regular visitor and has been coming to Cassidy's garden for several years. She's even given him a name: Foxy. Cassidy's three dogs don't try to chase him away, so the squirrel feels right at home in the garden. Cassidy has now decided to leave the toy out for him, so he can carry on having fun too!
