Couple adopts tiny puppy during Covid, but 6 years later they realise their huge mistake

In April 2020, right at the start of the Covid pandemic, Madison and her husband adopted a puppy.

The couple were looking for a small puppy that would be happy in their flat.

They then met a little dog named Henry. The person who gave him to them said he was a small Chihuahua

A "small" dog

For Madison and her husband, he was exactly the dog they were looking for. They brought the little dog home and gave him his forever home. However, as the weeks went by, they quickly realised the puppy was nothing like a Chihuahua... his paws just kept growing!

Weeks, then months, went by. Now, 6 years later, Henry is a fully grown dog the size of a Labrador. As Madison said in a video, the dog looks more like half a horse than a tiny puppy!

The perfect dog

Despite their surprise at how much he grew, Madison and her husband don't regret their choice at all. Henry is a wonderful dog and the ideal companion for their family. He watches over the couple's two little girls, his human sisters, with the greatest care.

Sometimes the living room is complete chaos, but that's usually down to the little girls rather than the dog... It's safe to say that Henry has grown in size as much as he has grown in the hearts of the whole family!

Life with Henry

A lovely dog
