Angie's heart went out to the cat.
It was clear she had been abandoned and had nowhere to go: she was very thin and looked exhausted.
A cat in need
Angie decided to leave some food out for her, but the poor cat, who she named Mochi, was still too scared to come near. Seeing that the cat hadn't dared to approach the food, Angie decided to place it closer to her hiding spot.
So, the young woman didn't hesitate to climb onto the rooftops to leave a plate full of food for the cat in need. The kind gesture worked, and Mochi began to eat. Over the following days, Angie started moving the plate closer and closer to her own building. About three weeks later, Mochi finally let her stroke her!
A big decision
The cat even let Angie pick her up. This meant she could take her to the vet for a check-up. It was there that they discovered the cat was microchipped, but her former family no longer wanted to care for her.
So, the vet asked Angie if she would like to adopt Mochi. Of course, Angie didn't hesitate for a second: she became the cat's official human and welcomed her into her home with open arms. Now, Mochi is part of the family. What a wonderful adoption story!
