Found just in time
In the Detroit area of the United States, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy, just one day old, was abandoned in a box. Named Justice, he was found all alone and in a terrible condition.
Given his young age and the freezing temperatures, his chances of survival were slim. Thankfully, volunteers from Bottle Babies Rescue, a rescue organisation based in Plymouth, acted quickly. The puppy was taken in, bottle-fed, and then placed in a foster home.
A happy and healthy puppy
Today, at 11 weeks old, Justice is doing well. He has regained his strength and is playful, curious, and affectionate.
His life may have started with abandonment, but he now knows the warmth of a temporary home. He is making progress every day towards becoming a well-socialised dog.
