The pooch, who is only three years old, is battling cancer.
The Goldendoodle is currently undergoing several treatments for the disease.
An uphill battle
It all began in 2023 when Kobe's owner, Annabel, noticed a lump on one of his hind legs. Tests revealed it was a cancerous tumour, and he needed surgery.
Kobe finished his treatment in May 2024, but sadly, in July 2025, the cancer returned. He now has to undergo further treatment. The pooch has already had eight general anaesthetics, ten chemotherapy sessions, and is taking numerous oral medications.
A heartbreaking relapse
The video below shows the dog after his second round of chemotherapy. Despite the cancer's return, Kobe remains as brave as ever and has kept his usual cheerful spirit.
The pooch is expected to finish his treatment at the end of February. We're all hoping that afterwards, Kobe will be permanently cured and can enjoy the comfort of his home and life with his owner.
