A trip to the groomers
For the past four years, Alibi had been visiting the groomer because she struggled to clean herself, and her fur would get matted.
Alibi always enjoyed her trips to the groomer and would cuddle up while having her coat blow-dried.
The groomer who looked after Alibi knew she was getting old and had the thoughtful idea to prepare something for her owner.
The groomer began collecting Alibi's fur after each grooming session. When she heard the sad news of the cat's passing, she turned it into a special memorial gift.
A poignant gift
On 10th February, Paige shared the touching gift in a TikTok video.
The young woman was in tears, and so were we after watching the incredibly moving video.
The groomer had made special ornaments: a heart, a star, and a pendant containing Alibi's fur, so that Paige could keep her cat close to her forever.
In the video, Paige said: "I was so emotional because I really thought she was just going to send me a card and maybe a framed photo of Alibi. I wasn't expecting something so personal."
