This family never expected to find life in their garage.

Recently, an animal rescuer named Laura was contacted by a family in need of help.

A stray cat had been found in their garage. After a quick look around, the homeowners realised she wasn't alone. She was, in fact, accompanied by her kittens.

As reported by the website LoveMeow, Laura and other volunteers went to the property to bring the little family to safety.

Sick kittens

They quickly discovered the first kitten, who was in a very bad way. Named Tokyo, the little feline was very thin and suffering from an upper respiratory infection and eye problems.

The kitten was immediately taken to the vet to get the care he needed. Meanwhile, Laura returned to the garage to find his siblings.

That's how she managed to find Nikko and Mito, who were also unwell.

A happy reunion

Luckily, the three brothers were reunited in the same foster home. The kittens quickly recognised each other and were able to explore their new surroundings together.

Although three kittens were now safe, Laura's mission wasn't over yet. After several days, she finally managed to catch the mother cat and her last baby.

Today, the kittens are all healthy and enjoying life to the full.
