Last March, the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando in Florida, USA, took in an abandoned cat. As reported by LoveMeow, the little feline was nervous and wary of people when she first arrived.
The rescue centre soon realised that the cat, named Serenity, was about to give birth.
A surprise litter
She gave birth to four kittens: Bliss, an elegant black female; Zen and Shanti, two ginger tabbies; and Stevie, an adorable white female with beautiful blue eyes.
The new mum was incredibly attentive to her kittens. She nursed, cleaned, and watched over her four little ones, a devotion that captivated her foster family.
A happy new beginning
Her foster family watched her transform. "She went from a state of great fear to a state of joy and relaxation," they shared.
Thanks to her wonderful personality, Serenity was able to stay with her kittens until they were all adopted.
And luckily, the devoted mum was soon adopted by a loving family herself.
