A disabled kitten named Tater Tot is becoming the internet's newest star. The reason? This little fella always seems to have an angry expression on his face, reminding many of the legendary Grumpy Cat.
The ginger kitten was found by a Border Collie outside his home in Utah, USA, when he was just a few hours old.
His foster family quickly realised that his paws were malformed. The little kitten was also born with a cleft palate.
A tough start
Because of this condition, his first few days were a real struggle. The poor little chap couldn't feed properly.
A true fighter
"We were taking it hour by hour. He fought really, really hard to be here," explains Ash Houghton, who received support from the Kitty CrusAIDE organisation.
"From day one, I could see that Tater had so much spirit and drive. And as long as he's fighting to stay alive, we're going to keep fighting for him."
Tater Tot is now wearing casts on his back legs. It will be some time before he is healthy enough to be put up for adoption. In the meantime, Tater Tot's story is winning over millions of fans. On TikTok alone, his videos average hundreds of thousands of views.
