By the side of the road, he spotted a tiny kitten curled up in a ball.
The kitten was minuscule, looking to be only a few weeks old. The poor little thing was completely on its own.
A quick-thinking rescue
The cyclist approached the little kitten, who was shaking like a leaf. He held her against his chest to comfort her as best he could and started to film a video.
He also searched the surrounding area for other abandoned kittens or the mother cat, but found no sign of any other animals. The cyclist decided to take the kitten home to get her to safety. He gave her some water and suitable food before taking her for a check-up at the vet.
A forever home
The vet confirmed that the little kitten had been abandoned; she wasn't microchipped or reported missing. The cyclist then realised that the 'Cat Distribution System' had chosen him to be her proud new owner... He named her Arong and decided to give her a forever home!
On Instagram, people were absolutely delighted with this wonderful story: "She’s so lucky to have found you. We wish you a wonderful life together," wrote one user. Another commented, "You are truly a good person. So many people would have just walked by without trying to help this sweet little kitten." And another said: "You’ve received the most beautiful gift of your life!" Today, Arong is all grown up and enjoying a sweet and happy life with her loving family!
