While they were enjoying their evening, Alex and her friends didn't realise that the family's two Golden Retrievers were inside the house.
A moment of mischief?
The two dogs were a little excited and, without meaning to, slammed the front door shut. Suddenly, Alex and her friends found themselves locked out. It was a situation nobody had planned for.
From inside the house, the two dogs quickly realised their mistake. They could see their humans trapped outside through the glass in the door.
A furry rescue attempt
The two Goldens immediately tried to find a way to help their humans. The video shows them putting their paws up on the door, as if trying to open it and join the party on the porch!
Thankfully, Alex and her friends weren't too worried. They simply carried on with their evening while waiting for someone to let them in. As Alex explained in the video, they had to wait for two hours before they could finally get back inside. One thing's for sure: next time, they'll remember to take their keys with them!
