The poor dog had very little energy and seemed quite down.
But that wasn't all. Another sign worried Camilo: Magnus was struggling with incontinence for the first time in his life.
A worrying diagnosis
So, Camilo took his dog to the vet. After several tests, the diagnosis came in... Magnus had cancer. The brave dog then underwent surgery to remove a cancerous tumour.
Then, in February, he started chemotherapy. Magnus was incredibly brave and fought hard all year. Finally, at the beginning of December, after almost a year-long battle, Magnus received the best news possible: he had beaten cancer!
A town-wide celebration
To celebrate, on the way home from the clinic, Camilo decorated his car with balloons. He also wrote a message on the rear window: "My dog beat cancer! Honk for him!!"
To Camilo's surprise, every driver and passer-by who saw the message honked their horns and waved. As you can see in the video below, people were so happy for them. Magnus watched the whole scene unfold cheerfully from the car window – he absolutely loves the attention. Congratulations, Magnus! We are so happy for you and your family.
