The rescuers placed them in foster care with Jennifer in Indianapolis, USA. The cats were delighted to discover their new playground!
Home comforts
As soon as Macadamia set paw in her foster home, she relaxed immediately. She started purring, expressing her gratitude to her foster mum Jennifer. Macadamia adapted very quickly to her new surroundings. She took great care of her kittens, feeding and grooming them perfectly.
The kittens Macaron, Big Mac and Macintosh were 5 weeks old. They proved friendly and curious from the start, even though Macintosh needed a bit more time than the others to trust people.
A new life
Macadamia was an exemplary mum. Even after the kittens were weaned, she still let them suckle to help them fall asleep. After fulfilling her role as a mum, she caught a cold and needed care. Fortunately, thanks to appropriate medication, good food and plenty of rest, she recovered completely.
It was time for Macadamia to retire. In the video footage below, we discover that the cat has packed her bags to return to the shelter. There she'll wait for her forever family. Now it's her turn to relax and play as much as she wants. We hope she finds her loving family very soon!
