Jacky and Charlie endured terrible living conditions for years, but they never lost their love for people. Heartbreakingly, it now seems that nobody wants them.

Jacky and Charlie spent years waiting for somebody to find them - trapped in a house with many other dogs and cats in the same desperate situation.

Then one day, help found its way to them, and the adorable duo were taken to rescue kennels. There they were given all the veterinary treatment they needed and plenty of cuddles.

Full of love

Having endured such difficult living conditions for almost a decade, the rescue team expected Jacky and Charlie to be nervous and fearful of people.

But instead of being wary around humans, both dogs took to life at the shelter immediately. Grateful for the kindness and love they've been shown, the pair seem overjoyed to have company and attention.

"This gorgeous boy is full of love—he’s energetic, playful, and always ready for fun! Jacky is a fantastic companion who truly deserves to spend his retirement in a warm, caring home", explains Stray2Me Rescue.

Five star retirement homes

Beagle Charlie is just as friendly and enthusiastic about life as Jacky."This gorgeous boy loves his walkies and never says no to a tasty treat! Charlie is calm, well-behaved on the lead, and enjoys taking life at a relaxed pace", writes the rescue.
