Bulldog Buster may be imposing in stature, but this secret softie is actually afraid of the rain. He's spent years in rescue - will he ever find his family?

English Bulldogs are courageous, loyal and protective, but they are also known for their comical, loving personalities. And Buster is most definitely a wonderful example of his breed.

The adorable Bulldog has yet to find someone who truly appreciates him, and as a result, he's spent far too long in rescue.

A big softie

"Buster is a typically stubborn Bulldog", explains Last Chance Animal Rescue. "He loves nothing more his big comfy bed, getting under the covers".

Buster's other favourite pastimes include eating treats, sniffing around the office, and helping the rescue staff feed the office fish!

This loveable boy also loves butt scratches, rolling around in the grass and strolling along at his own pace. If it's cold or rainy, there's no way Buster will be venturing outside.

Waiting to find his human

Buster isn't short on character, but he does need an experienced home.

He can become protective over the things he values, and he doesn't like new people coming into his space, so he would be happiest living one-to-one with a human all to himself.

"Buster loves men", the staff explain. While he may have his quirks, they have no doubt that in the right environment, Buster will make a wonderful companion.
