This clip was filmed during a Competitive Obedience trial. In such a sport, the handler directs the dog through a series of highly stylized behaviours that demonstrate control, accuracy, and precision from both the handler and the dog.
A sport taken seriously
And these guys are absolutely stealing the show! The dog is constantly attentive, looking at his handler and waiting for the next command. His reaction time is almost inexistent – as soon as a command comes through, the beautiful shepherd dog executes!
