A tightly tied jute sack had been left unattended, and upon closer inspection, they heard faint whining sounds coming from within.
Disturbing discovery
Alarmed, they immediately contacted the District Police Headquarters in Jawor.
Officers quickly arrived on the scene and carefully cut open the sack. Inside, they found three terrified puppies struggling for air due to the tightly knotted string.
Thankfully, the puppies were found to be in good health and did not require immediate veterinary care. The police contacted a local shelter to take over the puppies’ care.
Ongoing investigation
The local community was left outraged by the news of the abandonment, with many expressing their disgust and calling it ‘inhumane’.
The authorities are now investigating to find those responsible for this cruel incident. Despite the ordeal, the puppies are now safe and are expected to be placed in loving homes.
