The resident was walking along when he happened to peer through a neighbouring window.
He couldn't believe his eyes when he noticed faeces all over the kitchen floor. And looking even closer, things just got worse.

Surrounded by his own excrement, and huddled in the corner, was a 6-month-old puppy, in desperate need of help.
Without hesitation, the man photographed the scene, and sent the images to the police and to a local Facebook page.
The images were published, with many followers expressing concern for the poor pup.
A new life for Oreo
Thankfully, the puppy was spotted just in time. And thanks to the quick actions of the kind samaritan, he quickly received the care he needed.
Renamed Oreo, he was signed over to rescue association SPA Chilleurs-aux-Bois, who happily went on to report that he had found a loving new home of his very own.
His owner, on the other hand, was investigated for their actions and later charged with an act of animal cruelty.
