In 2019, Reddit user Playtonic1 and his wife welcomed their first child. Given the challenges of the initial pregnancy, the couple decided to delay further family planning.

However, shortly after, Playtonic1’s wife discovered she was pregnant again, despite their diligent use of contraception. The surprise led them to investigate, revealing their cat as the unlikely culprit.
Known for its penchant for opening cupboard doors and drawers, the feline had been targeting the drawer containing the couple’s cotton buds and condoms.

The cat’s favourite pastime? Shredding cotton buds and, apparently, condom wrappers too.
Upon discovering the damage, the couple realized the cat’s antics had compromised their contraception by puncturing holes in the condoms. Despite the shock, they embraced the situation with humour, now having a unique and amusing story to share about their second pregnancy.
It may be a good idea for them to store their contraceptives somewhere else…!
