Hollywood actor Johnny Depp and legendary musician Sir Rod Stewart collaborated in a special charity event held in London.

The event, hosted by sixties supermodel Celia Hammond, aimed to support the Celia Hammond Animal Trust, which she founded in 1986. The charity rescues and cares for stray cats and kittens.

A successful event

Attendees bid for tickets at Mark Aldridge’s Teddy Bear's Picnic event, securing their spot for an evening of music and philanthropy. Depp and Stewart entertained the audience with iconic tunes, expressing their joy in contributing to such a meaningful cause. Depp commended Hammond's dedication to animal welfare, emphasising his pleasure in performing alongside Stewart.

The event was a success, raising over $300,000 for the charity! The funds raised will aid in providing medical treatment for sick or injured animals, ensuring they receive the care they need.

Dedicated to animals

The collaboration between Depp and Stewart highlights their love for animals. Depp has in fact owned dogs his whole life, primarily small breeds such as Yorkshires and Pomeranians.

But this is not the first time Depp and Stewart work together to support animal welfare, which shows their commitment and dedication to improving the lives of all animals. Well done Mr Depp and Sir Rod!
