Fans in stitches after Ed Sheeran’s singing makes 8 cats run away AGAIN! (video)

Ed Sheeran left fans in fits of laughter as he attempted to serenade eight cats at the Cat Cafe Mocha Lounge in Tokyo, only to fail miserably.

Taking to Instagram, the singer shared footage of the feline fiasco, humorously noting that his second attempt, a decade after his initial try, yielded “same results.”

Sadly for Ed, this meant all eight cats darting away in a comical escape act.

In the video, Ed, surrounded by the cats, asked, “Who wants to hear a song?” As he began playing his hit “Thinking Out Loud” on the guitar, the cats swiftly made a mad dash, leaving Ed smiling and fans in stitches.

Ed is currently in Japan as part of his two-year Mathematics tour.

Repeat performance

This wasn’t Ed’s first encounter with the elusive feline audience. He also shared a throwback clip from 2014, where his musical efforts were met with a similar cat exodus.

Fans couldn’t help but join the fun, with one suggesting, “They wanted to hear ‘Purrfect’ obviously.”
