Woman callously throws dog from moving car and tries to flee the scene

Rather than take their unwanted dog to a shelter, this owner did something unthinkable, taking callousness to a new level.

A motorist in Tenerife had the misfortune to witness something that will likely stay with them forever.

Unthinkable act of cruelty

The driver witnessed the owner throw the dog out of the car and then quickly drive off. As the stunned driver followed behind, they watched the confused dog run after their owner’s vehicle, desperate for it to stop. They later shared a clip of the black dog chasing after the car, which makes for heartbreaking viewing.

Thrown away like rubbish

With over 69,000 people who have seen the video, many couldn’t resist commenting on the horrific behaviour of the dog owner. One person said:

"I still don’t understand how it is possible that some ‘people’s’ empathy for animals is at the level of shoe polish, having the possibility of leaving them in a shelter and not throwing them away like a cigarette butt."

Another person asked,

"How can you allow people to put it back in their car? Isn’t it better to notify the police? That animal is in danger right now or the owner is trying to abandon it again."

However, the comments suggested that the case has been brought to the attention of authorities, who are now investigating.
